Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Key job responsibilities
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Assemble and test with emphasis to detail an assortment of avionic LRUs electricalmechanical assemblies handle and install fiberoptics and PCBAs
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Identify equipment requirements process improvements maintain floor stock inventory
You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks kit carts etc)
Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Additional Requirements:
Willing to work all shifts (days evenings staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed. Shift will vary depending on program needs
Flexible working/commuting in between site locations
Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to liftup to 25lbs. unassisted

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $37/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical financial and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. A day in the life
We are a group of Technicians with well over 20 years of diverse skills and experience. Each team member brings in willingness to train and positive team energy. Some tasks you may be an individual contributor but may also work in a group environment to achieve organizational goals. This group of Technicians thrived in success by working as a team. We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment.



High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience
3 years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace Medical or related field)
2 years of handson work experience ElectricalMechanical Assembly Final Integration and/or Harness Integration experience
1 years of experience in a fastpaced production environment
1 years of handson experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices (i.e. automated and manual torque wrenches torque drivers calipers micrometers profilometers optical inspection devices multimeters) as well as standard hand tools




Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/license
ASE certification and/or equivalent experience
CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience
1 years reading interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/ or drawings
Experience working with FOD ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a highpaced challenging work environment
Prior military service a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70720/year in our lowest geographic market up to $76960/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
