Working with a national team committed to developing innovative designs for highperformance buildings the Senior Fire Safety Engineer will play a fundamental role in the production of great design work. The Senior Fire Safety Engineer position is your chance to join a collaborative team and influence the design of efficient healthy buildings for a sustainable future.
The Role:
Responsible for the production of fire engineering assessments and reports for the various project phases
Working with the entire design team and project stakeholders to develop design solutions meeting the Performance Requirements of the BCA.
Participate in projects from proposal through all stages including construction phase.
Working in all building sectors with projects ranging in size and complexity including aviation healthcare sports commercial and precinct.
Take ownership for projects from start to finish.
Promote active continuous learning and improvement within the team. Cultivate team members growth through feedback coaching and career development
Support Team Lead to plan projects optimize resources Managing project timelines budget and talented resources

Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience providing fire engineering in the building industry.
Australian Qualifications Framework Bachelor of Engineering and minimum Graduate Diploma in Fire Engineering.
NSW Fire Engineering Accrediations including preferably National Accreditions including CPEng
Good knowledge of project phases and different delivery models
Strong reporting writing skills and strong consulting skills
Organised and effective team member able to work easily with others manage staff negotiate and effectively delegate
Advanced Interpersonal skills with clients and staff
Advanced communication and coaching skills
