Job Description

About Us: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our Global Individual Health operations team at Cigna. As a leading provider of private medical insurance worldwide we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences to our expatriate clientele.

Responsibilities: As a key member of our Customer Service Team you will be the first point of contact for our global customers providing unparalleled support via telephone live chat or email. Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring first contact resolution and responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Adhering to operating procedures and regulations in line with policy terms and conditions.
  • Offering quality information regarding health benefits to customers.
  • Monitoring turnaround times to ensure timely resolution of customer contacts.
  • Building collaborative relationships with internal teams to optimize resources.
  • Actively supporting team members and contributing to achieving operational goals.
  • Performing adhoc tasks as required to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in processing global healthcare insurance claims.
  • Availability: Able to commit to 40 hours per week with an 8week induction training based in our CHSI Bengaluru Office.
  • Shifts: Available to work shifts between Monday and Sunday from 1.30 PM to 3.30 AM local time.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize prioritize and manage workload in a fastpaced environment.
  • ProblemSolving: Quick identification of customer needs and exercising judgment in a professional manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Initiative: Ability to work under own initiative and proactive in recommending and implementing process improvements.
