Warranty Representative Position Responsibilities and Duties
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- 2 years experience in warranty coordination customer service builder support or related field (home construction electrical AV or low voltage systems preferred).
- Working knowledge of new home construction processes and builder warranty standards is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage a high volume of service requests and deadlines.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with homeowners and builder representatives alike.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools CRM/ticketing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret work scopes and understand technical terms related to residential electrical and automation systems.
- Customer-first mindset with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
- Strong ability to listen empathize and resolve customer issues calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with home automation home technology or residential electrical services is a plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Purpose: The Warranty Representative serves as the liaison between homeowners home builders and HomePros internal service teams to ensure timely resolution of post-installation warranty issues. This role focuses specifically on issues covered under the builders home warranty related to HomePros installed systems (e.g. electrical automation AV/security equipment). The Warranty Representative plays a critical role in maintaining our reputation for service excellence and must possess strong coordination communication and problem-solving skills.
