Job Description

Sound good Were looking for a selfmotivated flexible individuals to join our Customer Excellence and Resilience team within the Wholesale Arena (Metering) based in Aberdeen or Inverness. Youll help transform the way we deliver wholesale services across Scotland improving the experience of our Licensed Providers and nonhousehold customer and supporting our ambition to be a truly great wholesaler.

Youll be part of a collaborative and experienced team that leads both proactive and reactive wholesale activity. Youll work closely with teams across Scottish Water including the Wholesale Service Desk Revenue & Wholesale and our Alliance Partner Clancy to modernise how we operate and build strong relationship across the business.

Youll also play a key role in leading and developing your team helping to foster an open transparent and learning culture with everyone can do their best work.

What youll do

This is a leadership role where youll support your team to deliver great results every day. Youll focus on people first motivating coaching and developing colleagues to ensure they have the right skills and behaviours to succeed. Youll help embed performance management practices and drive improvements that support both our regulatory obligations and internal goals.

Youll also be a key voice in identifying best practice challenging the status quo and helping us implement more effective ways of working. Root cause analysis will be part of your toolkit helping reduce escalations improve customer satisfaction and grow our team capability.

Relationships matter in this role. Youll be building strong partnerships across the business sharing insight and working together to improve how we deliver for our customers. And youll help champion a culture of continuous improvement within the Wholesale Arena always looking for opportunities to improve the service we offer.

What youll need

Youre a peoplefocused leader who knows how to bring the best out of a team. Youve got experience managing teams through change and youre trusted to make good decisions even under pressure. You know how to plan and prioritise work to meet external demands and you understand how to lead with clarity fairness and consistency.

Youre confident communicating with others whether presenting ideas listening to feedback or bringing people together to solve problems. Youve got an eye for detail and a proactive solutionfocused mindset always looking for better ways to deliver for customers. Youre collaborative by nature and know how to build strong working relationships across teams.

The notsosmall print

This role will be a Grade 7. If youre new to Scottish Water youll join us on a starting salary of 41000. Performancedriven pay progression would then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of 51970.

Your working pattern would be Monday to Friday with some weekend overtime when needed.
