Job Description
JOB TITLE: Elementary Music Instrumental Instruction Teacher (Williamstown Elementary)REPORTS TO: PrincipalPOSITION STATEMENT: Williamstown Elementary School seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Elementary Music Teacher with a strong foundation in music instruction. This position focuses on developing students musical abilities through structured lessons in vocal and instrumental technique music theory and performance. The ideal candidate will foster a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment promote student musicianship and actively support schoolwide music :Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Music Education or a related field Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Music (All Levels) or eligibility to obtain proficiency in vocal and instrumental instruction and music proficiency with a broad range of musical instruments and the ability to model technique and musicianship for to develop student skills through differentiated sequential music communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and to equity cultural responsiveness and continued professional & Essential Functions (which include but are not limited to):Provide highquality music instruction to students in grades PreK6 with an emphasis on developing vocal and instrumental skills music literacy and performance and implement a standardsbased music curriculum that progresses in difficulty and depth across grade a culture of rich musical learning that is engaging to students and supportive to the school community as a diverse musical genres and culturally responsive practices to engage all with school and district staff to support interdisciplinary learning and integrate music with other content areas where and maintain instruments materials and classroom in faculty meetings professional development sessions and curriculum planning other duties as assigned by the school & Compensation:Annual salary range: $50474 $110081 commensurate with education and & dental plans: Comprehensive options including Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO PPO and POS plans.
