We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage capital improvement and largescale commercial fitout projects across Bengaluru and Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with demonstrated experience in managing largescale projects from inception to completion. The role requires working within the physical group comprising a team of architects designers procurement community sales and facility teams to ensure that the projects are delivered on time on budget and achieving high standards of Quality. The project manager shall be responsible for the project from the moment the space has been identified till the opening and handoff to community and facilities. The project manager shall be able to keep the team focused on the task at hand. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects at a time in various stages and shall be able to work in a fast pace environment. This individual shall have experience at various stages of development including but not limited to due diligence bidding contract management people management etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams external contractors and consultants to oversee all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress identify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets ensuring adherence to financial constraints and costsaving measures.
  • Review project expenditures regularly and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all projectrelated communications both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including external consultants related to government agencies regulatory bodies and local communities to address concerns and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed established standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Education level and desired qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering/Mechanical/Electrical. Masters degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (68 years) in managing large scale fitout and capital improvement projects in construction sector.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to plan organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Sound knowledge of construction methodologies materials and industry best practices.
  • Ability to travel as required to various project sites across India.
