DePaul House (DPH) provides ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who have significant Substance use issues and related comorbities and require a withdrawal service. This is a statewide service. DPH practises a Recovery orientated approach using the Strengths Model of RecoveryOriented Practice the position through day to day care works and other activities will actively contribute to the development and implementation of this model.
Classifications for this position will be YY4 ($113360 per annum pro rata)

About Depaul House
Depaul House (DPH) is a 12 bed Community Residential Alcohol and Drug withdrawal unit based in Fitzroy Melbourne. The unit provides a medically managed detoxification from a variety of substances including THC Alcohol methampethamine etc. Clients can stay up to 10 days. Depaul House is part of St Vincents Department of Addiction Medicine. The Department of Addiction Medicine (DoAM) St Vincents Hospital Melbourne strives to be a key centre for the community in relation to alcohol and drugs strong and relevant in response working in a number of domains including clinical practice research that is directly translatable education and training (at undergraduate postgraduate and community levels) and advocacy and policy at both institutional level and more broadly.
