Working Hours:Monday Friday 5 out of 7 35 hours per week
Interviews: To be held in person in Stirling on 18th of July or at Longmore House Edinburgh on the 19th of July 2025.
You will support the administration needs of the Directorate and assist the Business Manager with delegated or adhoc tasks. This is a critical role in a dynamic team that is involved in the diverse work across the directorate.

Key Responsibilities of this role
Support the function of External Relations and Partnerships ensuring requests and enquiries are responded to effectively and in a timely manner. Attention to detail and ability to prioritise a continually evolving workload is critical to success.
Support the running of Directorate events (Forums training etc.) by leading on catering venue invites travel bookings and creating and issuing supporting information for delegates. Support for ontheday delivery of events is also required for directoratewide events.
Support multifaceted external events hosted by other teams in the Directorate including workshops and conferences. This requires logistics management and budget management.
Support directorate communications coordinating the weekly newsletter and gathering content for the quarterly project newsletter.
Perform financial and procurement tasks including raising purchase orders setting up suppliers reviewing manual purchase orders and receipt requests for accuracy and liaising with business areas about open purchase orders and receipts.
Ensure the smooth running of information flow across the team and directorate (where required) keeping monitoring systems up to date. Ideas for improvement to make systems and processes more efficient will be welcomed.
Undertake general administrative duties including data collation file housekeeping and responding to general queries from within and outside the organisation.
Support the wider ER&P team in ensuring that operational procedures are followed and completed to a high standard. They will also strive to improve business processes and how we work continually.
Support meetings administratively by taking minutes and actions when required drafting agendas and disseminating support materials and papers as necessary.
The ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail is critical to this post.
The ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment initiative and effective decisionmaking skills
