Job Description

Position:Dean of Student WelfareStart date:Term 3 2025Employment Status:FullTime Contract (in conjunction with a permanent Teaching Role)Salary:$106206 $143221 (dependant on experience)Applications Close:Friday 6 June 2025

What we are looking for:

Shalom College welcomes applications fromqualified and enthusiastic educators for the position of Dean of Student Welfare commencing from 14 July 2025.

We seek passionate leaders who will strive for excellence in teaching administration professional conduct relationships with parents and the wider school community and a genuine interest for young people and their learning.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
  • An ability to develop and lead quality teaching and learning practices in the subject areas listed above
  • A willingness to proactively engage with professional development opportunities to enhance quality pedagogy and student outcomes
  • An ability to work in collaboration with the Leadership Team and other staff members to contribute to the future planned growth development and extracurricular life of the College
