Job Description

NAYA Family Center is seeking a Community Food Coordinator to help grow food access food sovereignty and culturally rooted nutrition initiatives across our Native community. From managing our walkin pantry to supporting youth education and kitchen operations this role is essential to fostering wellness and food security for families and Elders alike. This role oversees food box preparation and deliveries coordinates inkind donations and works closely with our kitchen and food sovereignty teams to educate the community and increase access to traditional and nutritious foods. Approximately half of this role is spent in direct service with the remaining time split between outreach education and administrative support.

This is a fulltime inperson position based at our Portland campus. Work hours are typically 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional evening or weekend shifts based on community needs.


The pay rate for this position is $25 to 27 an hour.
