The Role: Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assist with the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for our advanced propulsion systems including the VDR2 engine. This role involves close collaboration with crossfunctional teams to ensure efficient highquality production aligned with aerospace standards.

What Youll Get To Do:

    • Process Development: Design develop and refine manufacturing processes for propulsion test and vehicle hardware emphasizing startup principles to embrace flexibility with an eye for setting up processes for repeated operations.
    • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineering test and analysis teams to integrate design specifications seamlessly into manufacturing workflows.
    • Supplier Engagement: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to source and qualify materials for specialized aerospace applications.
    • Quality Assurance: Work towards implementations and maintain quality control measures in compliance with aerospace industry standards conducting root cause analyses and corrective actions as necessary.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement best practices in manufacturing operations.
    • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
    • Training & Support: Provide training and support to production personnel to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes.

What You Have:

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
    • Approximately 5 years in manufacturing engineering preferably within the aerospace sector with a focus on propulsion systems.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks NX) experience with JIRA and Atlassian tools CAM software and familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of AS9100 standards aerospace materials and propulsion system components.
    • Excellent problemsolving abilities strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

What Will Set You Apart:

    • Experience with Rotating Detonation Rocket Engines (RDRE) or similar advanced propulsion technologies.
    • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing techniques along with their application in aerospace component production.
    • Background in implementing automation systems within manufacturing processes.
