Project Manager Municipal Infrastructure Water/Wastewater
Location: Richmond CA Compensation: $125000 $165000 USD Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects in the Greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction excellent leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to manage budgets schedules and diverse teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful public works projects with a focus on safety quality and longterm sustainability. Must Haves
5 years of construction project management experience for a General Contractor
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management Civil Mechanical Environmental Engineering or related field
Experience in water/wastewater infrastructure and process mechanical systems
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on active job sites
Solid knowledge of civil infrastructure: earthwork structural concrete underground utilities mechanical systems
Proven ability to manage contracts subcontracts purchase orders and project budgets
Skilled in schedule development cost control and manpower planning
Strong communication documentation and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated commitment to safety compliance and job site best practices
Comfortable supervising and mentoring engineers and field staff
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with sustainability practices (QSP SWPPP LEED)
Proficiency with tools like Procore Bluebeam AutoCAD Primavera etc.
Background in preconstruction client proposals or business development
Responsibilities
Oversee and execute all phases of municipal infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout
Set the strategic tone for projects ensuring alignment with scope budget and schedule
Lead project planning scheduling and procurement activities in collaboration with superintendents and trade partners
Manage jobspecific buyouts and submittals in coordination with estimating and executive teams
Monitor and control project budgets change orders and financial forecasting
Implement safety quality control and environmental programs with site leadership
Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure progress safety and quality standards are met
Foster positive working relationships with clients consultants and agency stakeholders
Coordinate internal teams including Project Engineers Field Engineers and Accountants
Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations and notice provisions
Report progress and key metrics to the Project Executive
