Job Description

Divisional Health & Safety Manager
Location: Lyon Station PA
Compensation: $115000 $120000 Bonus
Employment Type: Full-time

A well-established family-owned manufacturer is seeking a Divisional Health & Safety Manager to lead health and safety initiatives across a large production environment. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape the safety culture and make a meaningful impact on employee wellbeing.

This position offers the best of both worlds: time spent on the plant floor engaging with teams and time in the office designing strategy policies and programs that prevent injury and promote a strong safety culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of health and safety programs and policies

  • Promote behavioral-based safety and build engagement around workplace safety culture

  • Investigate workplace incidents and lead root cause analysis

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and relevant local state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with engineering to improve machine safety and reduce risk

  • Analyze injury data to guide prevention efforts and track trends

  • Design and manage return-to-work plans and strategies

  • Oversee safety committees and mentor other H&S staff

  • Maintain high visibility and responsiveness on the plant floor


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Safety Health Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5 years of safety leadership in a manufacturing or industrial setting

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices

  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience conducting audits developing safety training and implementing corrective actions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable using digital tools and safety platforms

  • Professional certification (e.g. CSP ASP) is a plus
