Job Description

In 2023 we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)Germanys state-owned terminal operator created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.

Tasks
- Support the technical planning and execution of LNG infrastructure projects
- Prepare and review engineering designs technical specifications and project documentation to ensure accuracy compliance and alignment with project objectives
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues
- Support construction and commissioning teams with engineering solutions and clarifications
- Contribute risk assessments quality assurance and compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Provide technical input during project development procurement and construction phases
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
- Masters degree in mechanical chemical civil or electrical engineering (or related field)
- 36 years of experience in engineering roles within the energy oil & gas or infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with LNG systems process engineering or terminal operations is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in engineering software tools (e.g. AutoCAD or similar MS Office)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in English and German or other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed
