Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental delays in their homes. This role focuses on helping children build life social and independence skills through individualized researchsupported interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver handson support during daily routines playtime and communitybased activities
- Promote independence and developmental progress in each session
- Implement and provide feedback on behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
- Accurately log behavior data session notes and client progress updates
- Maintain ongoing communication with your supervisor and complete required training and supervision hours
- Uphold safety standards client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Assist with minor housekeeping duties or transportation support when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Proficient in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver s license active auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs remain physically active and respond quickly to movement
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to reach client homes
- Commitment to completing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days (training provided)
- Must pass a background check
