The HSE Managers role is to collaborate and support the Package Management and the Fabrication Team on site in transferring and implementing the outlined HSE Strategy and objectives on the suppliers site. The successful candidate will implement the structure around planned HSE activities within the project including management of these.
Responsibilities:
- In accordance with the process Execute QHSE Assurance Plan Fabrication contribute to:
- Fabrication Suppliers compliance with Employers HSE Requirements according to contract
- Based on risk approach plan and conduct supplier and process assessments according to relevant activity program
- HSE support to Package and Fabrication Team
- Implement and/or follow up on Supplier HSE Improvements (where handed over) and Assurance / Activity Plan according to Project Baseline Agreement
- Contribute to HSE supplier performance reporting
- Communicate and coordinate operational HSE initiatives and interfaces across the organization
- Role model a safety culture that promotes continuous improvements
Tasks:
- Review Supplier HSE documentation prior to start of work and during execution including
- HSE management system procedures and HSE Plan
- Method statements risk assessments
- Guide and support on HSE strategy priorities HSE Improvement Plan and other HSE related matters to the Package and Fabrication Team
- Based on the Project Baseline Agreement execute and follow up on the Supplier HSE Activity Plan
- Execute supplier assessments according to the relevant activity programme and adhoc needs from Packages
- HSE inspections of supplier fabrication sites to evaluate suppliers compliance with Employers HSE Requirements in contract and supplier work procedures
- Maintain Synergistructure to hold all relevant HSE data
- Assist Fabrication Management with Synergi HSE reporting according to reporting guidelines and related followup (root causes actions)
- Take part in the Suppliers audits and other relevant activities such as but not limited to inspections readiness checks FAIs
- Initiate Communication Notes in case of breach of contract / regulations
- Participate in and follow up on incident investigations
- Participate in Supplier meetings (regular QHSE meetings HIRA FAI TOC ROC drills etc.) where relevant
Qualifications :
- Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level or similar.
- Preferably completed NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to Diploma Level or similar.
- Proven work experience within mature industrial manufacturing ideally within fabrication
- Proven track record at a senior level of QHSE Management
- Experience in Incident investigations and Root Cause Identification
- Knowledge of local Health and Safety Regulations required
- Valid training required in: Work at Height (e.g. GWO) and First Aid
- Valid medical certificate (to fulfil Fabrication Supplier requirements)
- Ability to write and speak English fluently is a must
Additional Information :
This is a long term contract opportunity until 30th November 2026 and is inside IR35.
