As a Senior Publications Business Partner you will lead a small team responsible for technical aviation content and mixed media production design change management editorial and publishing support with a focus on quality assurance and standardisation. Authoring editing and publishing of manual suites and associated notices across the business including operating procedures policy processes training documentation and/or system information ensuring compliance and driving improvements to enhance operations.

Your technical publications portfolio will be diverse spanning operational areas such as Training Flight Operations Cabin Crew Ground Operations Freight and Engineering.

Youll have:

• Tertiary qualifications in communications business aviation management change management or related discipline highly regarded (or studying towards an appropriate discipline).
• Excellent literary aptitude with experience in technical writing and content development.
• Aptitude for technology with experience in document management/delivery systems software applications and authoring tools such as MS Adobe InDesign XML and HTML.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the business hosting meetings committees and workshops.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity making decisions in complex environments
• Ability to plan and manage performance targets.
• Detailed knowledge of CASA regulations and aptitude to interpret legislative material is highly regarded.
• Must be available to undertake 7 concurrent days of afterhours and weekend publishing providing oncall support services on a rotational basis once every 1012 weeks.
