Job Description
This role is critical in ensuring the endtoend supply chain runs smoothly and in line with the overall strategy within operations whilst navigating a period of change along with global supply chain challenges. Meeting customer expectations improving on time delivery delivering world class lead times whilst maximizing process efficiencies and driving down inventory.
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will have to lead a strong professional team guarantee and improve the proper process flow with related metrics developing tools to drive improved performance. Take a proactive and disciplined approach to Rotork Environmental Health and Safety policy including the identification and resolution of hazards. Lead the SupplyChain function in accordance with the Rotork Lean and Daily Management rules / event cycle of the site (Rotork Management Operation Systems). Implementing the Operations & Supply Chain policies to achieve the organizational goals.
In this position you will have multiple responsibilities and duties with a focus on ensuring the site is meeting Rotorks Global Standards. Responsible for all aspects of upstream and downstream supplychain design execution and performance working with the Regional Supply Chain Manager on standardization of processes and best practices. Maintain strong relationships and build replenishment processes with Suppliers ensuring purchase orders and expediting processes deliver customer satisfaction. Responsible for all Supply Chain department costs including warehouse overheads and premium freight managing the Supply Chain resources according to the budget.
This role would suit a highly resilient and motivated individual keen to shape the success the team around them. Lead the team providing coaching and support. Working with the individuals on development plans and career path execution.
Qualifications :
Experience Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing supplychain and Lean methodology.
- Strong data analysis and ERP subject matter expert.
- From 5 to 10 years experienced Lean Supply Chain Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
The Successful Candidate:
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively leading and motivating factory based teams.
- The ability to think strategically and translate the strategy into operational performance.
- Has the ability to work under pressure solve problems and make decisions
- APICs certified
- Lean certified and/or 6 Sigma green belt trained
- Fluent English
