We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Baghdad Iraq. As an Engineering Coordinator you will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering departments daily operations ensuring smooth communication and maintaining efficient administrative processes.
- Coordinate daily activities of the Engineering department reporting to the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer
- Assist in daytoday operations including correspondence report preparation and call dispatching
- Manage departmental records logs and monthend documentation
- Maintain and organize engineering files and documentation systems
- Process purchase orders invoices and accruals for approval and submission
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors maintaining an uptodate contact list
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Assist in prioritizing assignments and tasks for the engineering team
- Greet visitors and handle inquiries directed to the Engineering department
- Ensure compliance with company standards and departmental policies
- Collaborate with team members to support project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative assistant role preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Familiarity with engineering terminology and processes
- Knowledge of local engineering regulations and standards in Iraq
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
