Under the direction of a RN or LPN the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- Performs a variety of routine duties involving care of medically ill acute or subacute patients
- Assist patients with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide compassionate and respectful care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient wellbeing
- Observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of residents
- Provides a clean and safe environment
- Performs other related duties
Reports:
- RN/ Clinical Nurse
- RN/Nurse Manager
- RN/Assistant Nurse Manager
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Supervises:
- None
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- None
Preferred Experience:
- No previous experience required. One (1) year of jobrelated experience preferred.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)* certification required prior to performing patient care. (*NOTE: Free BLS certification training provided by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) onsite as part of clinical orientation as needed)
NOTE: Orientationrequiresyour availability to completeClinical Orientation on your first fullweek (MondayFriday from 8am5pm).
