About the position: This is an entrylevel position. Entrylevel employees are trained to perform daytoday software application testing activities for our clients. They will go through our New Hire and Ongoing Training programs and become overall trained in our Methodologies.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Follow the direction and guidance of QA Leads and Managers

• Commit to learning Shasta QA Methodologies and training materials

• Provide project status reports

• Log time in the company standard time tracker daily

• Run software application tests

• Find software application faults

• Report software application faults in bug tracking systems

• Verify fixed and resolved application faults

• Provide specification and technical documentation reviews

• Create a test case matrix for test platforms

• Perform ad hoc testing for dedicated areas

• Execute and update software application test cases

Preferred Tech Skills:

• Experience in HTML / CSS

• Experience with mobile apps

• Great written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to take charge individually as well as work collaboratively with a team.

Salary Range: $17.50 $19.00 per year depending on experience

All applicants are subject to a background check. Background checks will include at a minimum SSN verification county criminal federal criminal sex offender registry and government watch list. The background check must be completed before employment begins except when employment begins prior to the completion of the background check as a conditional offer. Once the background check is complete hiring authority and human resources will inform the conditional employee of hire based on the outcome of the background check.
