Tech Lead Quality Assurance EngineeringWhat does a successful Tech Lead Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv
A successful Tech Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Fiserv enhances the quality of the DNA product supports client incidents during US daytime hours and strengthens automation testing. You will ensure high application quality and performance in a fastpaced Agile environment by analyzing product design defining test approaches building and maintaining test scripts and executing tests manually and automatically while collaborating with other teams.
What you will do:
- Serve as the voice of the customer by providing input to product design and usability.
- Review and contribute to user stories identifying acceptance criteria and building test scripts.
- Conduct all phases of software testing including planning unit functional integration system regression and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and software engineers to verify and validate requirements.
- Identify document triage and report software defects.
- Install configure and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
What you will need to have:
- 5 years of experience in QA BA or development with a deep understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- 5 years of experience in QA Automation and/or programming with languages like Java Ruby Python C# or C and executing manual and automated tests.
- 5 years of experience building detailed test plans and test scripts from business requirements.
- 3 years of experience using test case management and defect management tools such as Confluence JIRA and ALM.
- High School Diploma required Bachelors in Computer Science Business Finance or related fields preferred and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 3 years of experience writing SQL queries or using other query languages.
- 3 years of experience in banking lending credit and debit transactions or other financialrelated fields.
- Industry Certifications in Quality Assurance from ISTQB CST or CSTA.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Finance or related fields or High School Diploma with prior QA experience.
