The MultiAgency Radio Communication System (MARCS) is dedicated to providing Ohios first responders and public safety providers with stateoftheart wireless digital communications and to promote interoperability in order to save lives and maximize effectiveness in both normal operations and emergency situations.
- The MARCS Program operates 24/7/365/ Although regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday the entire staff is on call.
- This posting is for four available positions shifts for each to be determined. The positions may require work on weekends holidays and nontraditional shifts.

What Youll Do:
Provide maintenance & documentation to information system users &/or IT specialists:
- Enter metadata into repositories
- Perform loading validation
- Execute unit or system test scripts
- Provide maintenance support for application software
- Develop organize file & maintain platform specific documentation
Generate enhancements for existing infrastructure software or database systems in compliance with specifications & standards:
- Create &/or modify program modules
- Create database diagrams
- Write standard queries
- Writes test cases &/or scripts for unit & system testing
- Verifies unit & system test results to ensure software is producing desired results
Assist customers with management of subscribed devises which includes:
- Beginning the workflow for new customer onboarding
- Management of devices for existing customers
- Update customer contact/database information
Collaborate with financial & technical teams to ensure timely & accurate processing if internal & external device management financial data & management of assets in accordance with workflow procedures
- 18 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: computers and/or telecommunications software/hardware applications support products projects or databases for small scale systems or programs or pieces of larger systems or programs including 12 mos. combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 12 mos. combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
- Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above. Note: The official position description on file with the designated agency is to reflect the required technical experience.
