Job Description

ICT Support Officer

Fixed Term Full Time Position

Commencing approximately 16 June 2025 until 29 August 2025

About the Role

As an ICT Support Officer you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our Information and Communication Technology systems across the College. This includes assisting staff and students with technical support ensuring our systems operate smoothly while upholding a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic IT support to staff students and parents in person or over the phone
  • Provide classroombased support for staff and students
  • Installation and support of software for staff and students
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and submit support requests
  • Assist in the maintenance of network and data security as needed
  • Escalate complex issues to ICT Database Administrator as needed
  • Assist with AV solutions including the setup and running of equipment for events and maintaining classroom equipment as required by the College
  • Carry out all tasks by understanding the importance of confidentiality of information and act accordingly with discretion and propriety
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet service expectations
  • Work in alignment with the Colleges mission values and WHS procedures

What Were Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience supporting ICT systems particularly Microsoft environments
  • Understanding of ICT Service Management frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customerfocused mindset
  • A team player with excellent time management and the ability to work independently
  • Adaptable and solutionsoriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Committed to upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Willingness to work within a Christian educational setting

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant ICT qualifications and/or certifications
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
