Your role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager this role is responsible for driving the growth of our NSW customer base through the execution of our Trade Sales strategy. Youll be tasked with uncovering opportunities within businesses (existing and new customers) and growing percentage share of wallet within the Trade segment of the Silicone Sealants & Adhesives industry.

As a high performing and experienced Sales professional you will have the natural ability to build effective relationships with Trade Distributors to generate profitable sales revenue by leveraging your experience in sales account management and new business acquisition.

This role offers autonomy variety and the right amount of challenge that will keep you learning and growing your knowledge and skills. Youll also be surrounded by a team of experts and leader who will support you to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of the Selleys Trade Sales Strategy/Plan business plans
  • Achievement of sales budgets and growth targets
  • Support Trade Distributors with end user requirements in relation to product service and sales
  • Maintain professional knowledge of the Selleys Trade Product offer/portfolio & range
  • Identify and create sales opportunities for the Selleys Trade Business
  • Profile customers develop and execute B2B business and call plans

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Trade Sales role or handson Trade application
  • Proven ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into clear strategic actions to achieve sales budgets targets and broader business objectives
  • Technical expertise in the application and performance of silicones sealants and adhesives in trade environments
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with a natural ability to problemsolve investigate issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills and exposure to using sales CRMs
  • Willingness to travel across the state as required
