Requirement for: Project Manager Sr. Manager - Tallahassee Florida. (PMP Certification)
Duration: 12 months
Join Date: ASAP
The project solution goals are as follows:
1. Reduce the States risk exposure by harnessing modern financial management technology built on the premises of scalability flexibility and maintainability.
2. Improve state and agency specific decision making by capturing a consistent and an expandable set of data.
3. Improve the States financial management capabilities to enable more accurate oversight of budget and cash demands now in the future.
4. Increase internal controls by enabling standardization and automation of business processes within and between DFS and agencies.
LOCATION - must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee Florida if required.
DELIVERABLES/TASKS: The Project Manager will complete the following deliverables for the Department in the time and manner specified:
Deliverable 1. Proactively manage assigned PALM project tasks in accordance with established standards from project initiation through project closure.
Deliverable 2. Identify Department business units stakeholders and staff positions affected by the PALM transition.
Deliverable 3. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule with assigned resources start dates and end dates.
Deliverable 4. Monitor the Departments progress with biweekly (or more frequent) updates to the project Schedule.
Deliverable 5. Attend biweekly (or more frequent PALM project meetings.
Deliverable 6. Communicate project status and relevant project updates to stakeholders.
Deliverable 7. Identify analyze and monitor project: tasks risks issues discussions and action items. Deliverable 8. Identify and monitor quality assurance activities.
Deliverable 9. Document the change management process. Review analyze update and report on project changes.
Deliverable 10. In coordination with the Department monitor and complete required Master Readiness Workplan tasks by required due dates as identified by the Florida PALM team.
Deliverable 11. Assist the Department with change management aspects from FLAIR to PALM as requested by the Department.
Deliverable 12. Coordinate with the Departments management team to develop and deliver appropriate training to the Departments end users.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENING - Selected candidate(s) must successfully pass a Level 2 criminal background investigation (to be paid for by Contractor) including fingerprinting statewide and national criminal history records check prior to beginning work.
