The Automotive Controller plays a crucial role in driving financial success by overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting. This position ensures accurate financial data compliance with industry standards and strategic financial planning in partnership with dealership management.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure compliance with dealership guidelines and manufacturer requirements.
- Financial Analysis & Planning: Develop strategies for improving profitability return on investment and financial performance.
- Expense Management: Identify costsaving opportunities and provide guidance on expense control.
- Accounting Operations: Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with GAAP.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee tax reporting and payments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Cash Management: Optimize cash flow through effective management systems.
MustHave Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred).
- Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting (Highly Desirable).
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (CDK experience preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
