The Banqueting/Hostess Coordinator is responsible for overseeing banquet operations ensuring seamless event execution and managing the hosting team to provide exceptional guest experiences. This role
Requirements
Plan organize and oversee banquet events ensuring smooth execution from setup to cleanup.
Coordinate with clients event planners and internal teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
Supervise banquet staff including servers bartenders and setup crews ensuring efficient workflow.
Ensure proper table arrangements d cor and overall banquet
ambiance align with event specifications.
Monitor food and beverage service ensuring highquality presentation and guest satisfaction
Supervise and train hostesses to deliver excellent customer service.
Manage restaurant and event seating arrangements ensuring a welcoming experience for guests.
Greet and escort guests to their tables or event areas providing a warm and professional first impression.
Handle guest inquiries complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
Schedule and assign tasks to ensure adequate staffing for events and dining services.
Maintain inventory of banquet supplies linens and equipment coordinating with vendors as needed.
Work closely with the kitchen and beverage teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Implement and uphold hospitality service standards addressing any operational challenges.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for banquet operations.
Monitor and analyze event profitability making recommendations for costeffective solutions.
Assist in setting pricing for banquet services and packages.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management Event Planning or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years in banquet coordination hostessing or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of banquet/event operations and seating arrangements.
Familiarity with reservation or banquet software (preferred).

Diploma /Degree in Hotel Management 3+ years experience in an equivalent role with a rated Hotel Exceptional listening and communication skills. A polite, engaging personality. Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
