**Job Description: Art Teacher (CBSE Standards)**
**Position Overview:**
The Art Teacher for CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Standards plays a crucial role in fostering creativity imagination and artistic skills among students. This position involves designing and implementing comprehensive art curricula that align with CBSE standards integrating various art forms techniques and mediums into the learning process. The Art Teacher facilitates an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity express themselves through art and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Curriculum Development:**
Develop and design art curricula that adhere to CBSE standards incorporating a variety of art forms techniques and mediums suitable for different age groups.
Create lesson plans that encompass art history theory and practical application to provide a wellrounded art education.
2. **Instruction and Delivery:**
Conduct engaging and interactive art classes that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Demonstrate various art techniques and processes providing clear instructions and demonstrations to guide students through their artistic endeavors.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves creatively.
3. **Assessment and Feedback:**
Assess student artwork based on established criteria providing constructive feedback to encourage growth and improvement.
Monitor student progress in mastering art concepts and skills utilizing formative and summative assessments to track learning outcomes.
4. **Classroom Management:**
Maintain a well organized and stimulating art studio or classroom conducive to artistic exploration and learning.
Establish and enforce rules and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
5. **Collaboration and Communication:**
Collaborate with colleagues administrators and parents to support the integration of art across the curriculum and promote the value of art education.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress upcoming projects and opportunities for involvement in their childs artistic development.
6. **Professional Development:**
Stay updated on current trends best practices and advancements in art education through professional development opportunities workshops and conferences.
Continuously seek to enhance teaching strategies and methodologies to meet the evolving needs of students and the demands of CBSE standards.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
Bachelor s degree in Fine Arts Art Education or related field; Master s degree preferred.
Teaching certification or licensures appropriate for the level of instruction (e.g. CBSE teaching certification).
Proven experience teaching art to students at the CBSE level or similar educational settings.
Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum standards and requirements for art education.
Proficiency in various art forms techniques and mediums including drawing painting sculpture and digital media.
Excellent communication interpersonal and instructional skills.
Patience creativity and a passion for fostering artistic expression and creativity in students.
The Art Teacher for CBSE Standards plays a pivotal role in nurturing the artistic talents and abilities of students contributing to their holistic development and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher (1 - 3) years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
