DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
The Capital Asset team is responsible for developing monitoring and enforcing policies practices and procedures related Caesars Entertainment Corporations property plant and equipment assets including the costs associated with construction in progress and IT development until those assets are ultimately placed inservice. This responsibility includes maintaining accurate and uptodate accounting records and ensuring that transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with the Capital Asset Policy and providing guidance on the policy.
The Assistant Manager assists the department in establishing the strategic vision for the team and in executing high level department strategies. This role also has responsibility to directly lead team members responsible for performing the daytoday tasks in accordance with departmental and functional procedures internal controls and the accounting in accordance with US GAAP Caesars policies and procedures and applicable state and Federal regulations. Assist the department leadership in developing KPIs to aid in obtaining peak performance.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee a combination of professional and nonprofessional accounting staff responsible for capital asset accounting
- Administer Caesars accounting and capital policies practices and procedures related to the processing of capital asset transactions including the related internal controls
- Reviews account reconciliations and journal entries ensuring compliance with existing controls policies and procedures and GAAP
- Coordinate and review the daily weekly monthly and annual accounting processes to accurately record transactions
- Complete adhoc reporting and projects as assigned
- Understand the requirements and implementation of US GAAP
- Oversee the departmental monthend close process and meeting all deadlines and related responsibilities and while adhering to US GAAP and Caesars accounting policies
- Be familiar with monthly and quarterly financial reports including SEC filings and applicable disclosures
- Prepare and/or review monthly deliverables such as rollforward schedules financial reporting support schedules and legal/regulatory reporting

- Assist manager in developing and leading regular training sessions to enhance department performance
- Assist manager in creating and implementing strategic vision
- Assists staff in problem resolution and escalation to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist in promoting change management as the need arises
- Provides manager with monthly metrics of assigned team noting key achievements and areas needing improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proactively provides feedback to leadership on people process technology and compliance
- Coordinate the production of documents in response to requests from internal auditors independent auditors properties and others as necessary
- Perform monthly analysis of applicable financial statement accounts for senior leadership
- Lead and excel in multitasking with complex assignments and management requests
- Perform other jobrelated duties as requested

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- BA/BS degree in accounting or related degree
- Prefer CPA or advanced degree
- Prefer gaming industry experience
- Prior experience with Oracle or similar ERP system and or subledger preferred
