Position Overview:
This position is responsible for building electrical harnesses subassemblies and inhouse builds in support of Production and Aftermarket Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Perform final bench testing on harness and inhouse terminations per procedures
Assist with solder and wiring buddy verification tests when necessary
Ability to troubleshoot issues with little to no engineering support
Maintaining security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control
Notify errors on procedures drawings bills of material and router to the support teams (Quality Manufacturing Engineering).
Responsible for completing documentation accurately and timely
Responsible for entering data into the IFS system accurately and timely
Responsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanship
Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company
Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified
Notify management of errors found on procedures drawings bills of material and routers to the support teams
Work closely with production to schedule and coordinate repairs to meet contract dates
Actively participate in meetings providing updates to management regarding Aftermarket activities and Production Orders
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
12 years of manufacturing experience
Experience with basic hand tools
Experience in using fundamental gauging and measuring equipment
Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and ongoing attention to detail.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Excel Word).
Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the use of testing devices.
Basic skills in mentoring and training of coworkers.
Basic knowledge of 5S and other worldclass business concepts.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to adapt and manage change in a dynamic environment.
Openness to accept new challenges
Eager for the opportunity to crosstrain across multiple areas.
