10a-6:30p (some evening shifts may be required) / Full Time / 40 Hours

Emory University Hospital (EUH)is an academic medical center within Emory Healthcare (EHC) that serves a high acuity patient population.

We are actively recruiting a Pharmacy Manager for theEmory University Hospital (Clifton Rd. campus) Department of Pharmacy. This leader will have oversight over our Main Pharmacy Operations with an emphasis on evening and night shifts reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services.

The Pharmacy Manager (Operations) in the Emory University Hospital (EUH) Department of Pharmacy will support leading and coordinating the operational needs of the department including but not limited to staff supervision supply chain management regulatory compliance multidisciplinary collaboration quality oversight and practice model advancement to support the mission and vision of the organization. The manager will work collaboratively with the Pharmacy leadership team Nursing providers Human Resources and Pharmacy Informatics partners to ensure best practices in the medication use process for all areas of oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy.
  • Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required within 90 days.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 6 months if directly applicable to practice specialty.
  • Four (4) years of hospital Pharmacist experience OR PG1 with two (2) years of hospital Pharmacist experience OR PG2; one (1) year of managerial experience preferred.
