Position Summary
Your role as aField Operations Manager to lead and oversee daytoday operations for our Crossbore Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of field teams with a strong focus on labor productivity safety compliance quality control and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a background in utility or construction field operations possess strong leadership and organizational skills and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service. The Field Operations Manager will collaborate closely with project managers subcontractors and utility partners to ensure successful execution of cross bore detection investigation and remediation efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to all Field Operation Managers and Supervisors.
Manage staffinglevels wages hours contract labor to revenues recruit select train assign schedules coachandtrain field staff
Work closely with Project Managerand management team to set and/or implement policies procedures processes budgets as well asfollow through with implementation.
Develop operations systemsenforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for completing work equipment utilizationand equipment/inventory management
Communicate with customers and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulationsandensure that the project safety goals aremetand training is completed
Job Qualifications and Skills:
35years of experiencein related fieldwith 12 years in operations management
Valid Drivers License with a good driving record
Ability to pass a thorough background check and preemployment drug screen required as a condition of employment
Proficient in using current technology; smartphone tablets MS office tools etc.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to walk up to 5 miles or more per day in various terrain and weather conditions
Must be able to work in confined spaces bend and lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to travel overnight occasionally depending on project location
