The Citadel The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applicants for an Assistant Director in the Student Success Center. The Student Success Center Assistant Director works closely with the Student Success Center Director and is responsible for the following:
Minimum Qualifications:
A Masters degree in education psychology counseling student affairs or related field. Extensive knowledge of academic coaching as well as extensive knowledge of tutoring practices based on College Reading and Learning Association certification requirements for subject area tutors. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with coaches students faculty staff administrators parents and alumni as well as the community. Ability to disseminate information electronically to campus community and to communicate effectively in both writing and speech. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a college student success center academic support center or college writing center. Experience working with Institutional Research to review data and analytics. Experience with smallgroup tutoring.
