You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCenter for Human Services (CHS) is seeking a creative organized and relationshipfocused Development and Events Coordinator to join our Development team. This is a fulltime 40hourperweek position Monday through Friday based at our Main Office in Modesto CA. The Development and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing a variety of fundraising and donor engagement events including CHSs signature event Edible Extravaganza as well as donor receptions holiday campaigns and community engagement events. This role manages event logistics budgets volunteers and sponsorships while also supporting donor stewardship and maintaining strong relationships with corporate and individual supporters. The ideal candidate is detailoriented experienced in event coordination and donor relations and passionate about advancing CHSs mission through meaningful engagement and impactful fundraising.

Position Summary: Responsible for planning and executing various agency fundraising and community events coordinating event and corporate volunteering opportunities and stewarding an assigned portfolio of donors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree preferred plus three years of experience in the field. Five years of experience can be substituted for the degree.
Experience in event management fundraising and donor stewardship.
Experience in event volunteer and corporate volunteer coordination.
Ability to work effectively with staff and public entities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Excellent verbal written and communication skills.
Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints.
Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis) screening.
Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing (if required).
Valid California drivers license and proof of auto insurance coverage. (Required)
Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.
DUTIES:
Event Management
Plan and execute various fundraising events in alignment with the department plan and annual budget.
The Agencys signature fundraiser Edible Extravaganza.
Corporate giving events such as Giving Days workplace giving events etc.
Holiday giving events and other special events.
Up to two Donor Appreciation Reception events each year.
Community engagement events such as grand openings open houses meet and greets etc.
Manage all aspects of event logistics timelines budgets volunteers and vendor selection.
Solicit and secure event sponsorships vendors inkind donations and raffle donations.
Track and reconcile all event revenues and expenses with the Finance Department.
Generate reports and metrics to track fundraising event progress and outcomes.
Oversee postevent communications including thank you calls and thank you letters.
Collaborate with marketing and communications team to develop eventrelated materials and promotions.
Assist with the preparation and development of the department annual budget and monitor monthly financial activity reports.
Serve as the Chair of various fundraising and events committees.
Maintain event equipment inventory. Ensure equipment is in working order and coordinate repairs with Facilities.
Volunteer Coordination
Recruit train and manage seasonal support staff and event volunteers.
Partner with the Development and Communications Director to achieve the corporate fundraising goal through strategic corporate volunteer opportunities.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
Manage an assigned portfolio of individual and corporate donors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors sponsors and prospective supporters.
Ensure timely stewardship efforts such as thank you calls handwritten notes and donor engagement.
Development and Communications Support
