Job Description
Leidos is seeking a System Administrator in Fort Belvoir VA to support largescale migration and operations on a large highprofile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprisewide IT support to enable DTRAs Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate modernize and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRAs internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations
The System Admin intermediate will be responsible for installations configurations administration support and maintenance of systems including associated hardware. Duties will include management of systems infrastructures implementing best practices to identify and recommend system functional specifications configuration of physical and virtual systems backup and recovery of IT infrastructure. Support duties will include updating and supporting systems by tuning performance allocating storage space. Implementing critical patches reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshooting issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide input on budget and resource assets.
Assisting in hiring processes for multiple labor categories as requested
Develop technical teams as necessary
Coordinate with PMO and all Tier levels while also maintaining the ability to use knowledge of VMware Horizon View vSphere VDI to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
Be able to work in a rapid paced environment and must be able to work independently.
Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and compute environments.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Creates maintains and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.
Application of security settings and other best commercial practices such as DISA STIGS.
Basic Qualifications:
BS and 4 8 years of prior relevantexperience with a Windows/Linus server environmentor Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
Management and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in a complex medium to large IT Infrastructure program preferably for the US Government.
Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware
Shell scripting (e.g. bash) and experience in other languages like Perl Python and Java.
Experience with application of security settings and other best commercial practices such as DISA STIGS.
Experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (such as FireEye and McAfee sensors and sandboxes)
Experience with Security Incident Event Management (SIEM)
Must have at least an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
Currently they possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II e.g. Security.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware

Pay Range $72150.00 $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
