Under direction of the IWCC CIO the incumbent will perform highly complex professional and advisory functionsin Applications Services System Services and Client Services areas for CompFile; serves as a highly advanced specialist in planning implementing and coordinating CompFile administration complex and sophisticated interface functions between systems programs and various Azure components and similar functions of majorcope and impact; serves as a project leader providing advice and guidance to equivalent or lower level professionals for highly complex assignments; may serve as a staff assistant to a principal manager of anagencys Information Technology program; provides advice and guidance in highly complex program aspectsthat require extensive technical research and systems analysis.

The Illinois Workers Compensation Commission resolves disputes between employees and employers regarding workrelated injuries and illnesses. A case is first tried by an arbitrator whose decision may be reviewed by a panel of three commissioners. Cases may then be appealed to the circuit court Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court. Like most court systems the vast majority of disputes are resolved by settlement.
