As the Regional Retail Recruiter you will be an integral part of the Retail Talent Acquisition Team by supporting hiring in our retail stores for the West AMER Region. This role will support all of our VF Brands (Vans The North Face Timberland Kipling Dickies Icebreaker and Altra). You will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of store leaders and building a strong talent community. You will be responsible for implementing strategies for attracting and engaging talent for retail management and hourly positions across our brands. You will manage retail management positions help to increase applicant flow for hourly roles and on occasion manage retail associate recruiting.
*This role is required to be located out of our Costa Mesa CA office*
How You Will Make a Difference:
Provide daily coaching mentoring and training for store/field leaders focusing on recruitment strategies tools and overall hiring effort.
Implement and drive use of recruiting strategies tools and resources by store managers to attract and engage hourly sales associate positions.
Source and screen top talent for our retail stores across all brands.
Create and implement effective strategies for critical staffing locations new store openings and peak season hiring.
Act as a collaborator and advisor for assigned region regarding all aspects of talent management including recruitment retention and potential succession planning.
Create a candidate experience that highlights the brands and leaves candidates with a positive perspective of the brand regardless of the outcome.
Ensure retail managers use consistent processes to evaluate talent in a way that leads to equitable hiring practices.
Drive a focus on diverse hiring strategies; adapt corporate initiatives to meet the needs of retail processes and goals.
Attend career fairs and hiring events to create experiences for students/candidates; building brand awareness across target populations.
Ensure store management teams have the skills needed to effectively assess and identify talent for their stores.
Build strong relationships with retail leadership to understand most pressing hiring needs and critically understaffed locations.
Build and utilize toolkits for new store openings. Partner with DMs to meet hiring goals prior to opening day.
Be a contributing member of the talent acquisition team share ideas and drive innovation and efficiency in the process.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3 years
Position Requirements:
A drive and passion for retail hiring and finding solutions in a challenging labor market
Experience with Retail and/or High Volume recruiting
Ability to manage 1015 requisitions concurrently
Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
Ability to build relationships built on trust; manage a wide range of stakeholders at various levels in the organization
Knowledge of Workday a plus

$72576.00 USD $90720.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential.
