Job Description

Atlas Advisors LLC (ATLAS) in support of the U.S. Department of State s Global Advisory Program is seeking qualified Technical Advisors (Organizational Level) for potential overseas assignments. These professionals will provide subject matter expertise in specialized areas such as logistics compliance operations and security to Host Nations Regional or International Organizations. The Technical Advisor role is integral to advancing U.S. foreign policy objectives by building partner institutional capacity and enhancing selfsufficiency in complex environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory support at the organizational level in one or more specialized technical disciplines.

  • Lead and supervise implementation of technical strategies aligned with mission requirements.

  • Deliver expert analysis advice and actionable recommendations tailored to host nation objectives.

  • Develop training programs operating procedures or policy recommendations as needed.

  • Liaise with host nation counterparts and U.S. government stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.

  • Support organizational transformation and institutional capacitybuilding efforts.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure longterm sustainability without external assistance.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

  • Minimum six (3) years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts in austere international or government environments.


Desired

  • 6 years of relevant experience

  • Prior experience living and/or working overseas.

  • Foreign language proficiency.

  • Experience working with midlevel government or military officials.

  • Expertise in sectors such as compliance logistics security financial systems or operations.

  • TS/TCI Clearance

  • Experience with DOS
