Job Description
- Teach pupils in an integrated setting utilizing course of study adopted by the Westfield Public Schools and appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in teaching individual course content.
- Develop lesson plans and appropriate instructional aids.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues students and/or parents on a regular basis as a liaison between the home and school whenever necessary.
- Identify pupil needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping pupils solve health attitude and learning problems.
- Participate in curriculum and other developmental programs.
- Supervise pupils in outofclassroom activities during the assigned workday.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Building Principal or the Superintendent of Schools.
