Job Description

Job Summary:Springfield International Charter School is seeking a passionate and experienced Varsity Defensive Coordinator to lead the defensive unit of our high school football program. This individual will be responsible for developing a competitive and disciplined defense mentoring studentathletes and contributing to the overall success and culture of the Duties and Responsibilities:Work closely with the Head Coach to design and implement weekly defensive game plans and practice defensive schemes techniques and fundamentals appropriate for high school down game film using Hudl and prepare scouting reports on ingame defensive adjustments and play and develop position coaches on the defensive strong relationships with studentathletes and promote academic accountability sportsmanship and character all practices team meetings film sessions and games (including offseason workouts and camps when possible).Ensure player safety and enforce all team school and MIAA other duties as assigned.
