The Boeing CompanyBoeings Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is currently looking for a Facilities Project Management Specialist to join their Facilities Project Management/Construction Management team in Ridley Park PA. This position will support critical site construction related projects.
You will collaborate with a team of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver critical construction and equipment installation projects. This role is the opportunity to support a wide array of business partners. Our team includes high performing professionals delivering project execution from design through construction and we are open for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead various aspects of facilities projects; manage smallscale projects from preconstruction planning through project execution to closeout
Develop project requirements integrated plans and detailed work breakdown structure to achieve objectives within established scope budget and schedule
Monitor and communicate project status baselines changes risks issues opportunities to identify what assistance needed
Perform variance analysis critical path scheduling cash flow projections and cost tracking to implement strategic adjustments as needed
Coordinate project execution and serve as a liaison among internal and external stakeholders architects and engineers general contractors subcontractors and external suppliers
Drive project management and change management initiatives in accordance with industry best practices and standards
Oversee project closeout activities and facilitate documentation of lessons learned to improve future project outcomes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in project management or construction management
3 years of experience with MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Project
3 years of experience managing projects and applying standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
3 years of experience in project management developing communicating and implementing key strategic and operational initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (DesiredSkills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in architecture project management construction management engineering or related field)
5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1 years of experience with Procore or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
Experience budgeting and forecasting
1 years of experience reading blueprints and structural drawings
Knowledge of construction procurement processes related to writing work scope qualifying suppliers bid evaluation and supplier/contractor selection
Experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations construction utility budget management schedule and project reviews
Professional verbal and written communication skills
