Job Title: Athletics Photographer Student Employee

Job Classification: Marketing and Communications Student

Department: Branding & Creative Services

Hiring Manager: Joe Gonzales

Work Schedule: Flexible hours

Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Spring Ongoing

Pay Rate: $7.25 $10.00

Job Description:

The student will have the opportunity to photograph a wide range of live sporting events and provide behind the scenes content for Baylor Athletics.

Job Functions

  • Photograph live sporting events and team practices
  • Edit and organize photos
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Compliance with all NCAA and Baylor policies

Required Skills:

  • An eye for creative photography
  • Full understanding of equipment
  • Flexibility and attention to detail
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility
  • Assist with various projects activities or tasks related to marketing and communications
  • Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly
  • Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
