Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent at Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills North Carolina is a customer serviceoriented position responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences. This is a fulltime hourly position with an individual contributor role. The Front Desk Agent will work closely with hotel guests to ensure their satisfaction handle checkins and checkouts and assist with any needs or inquiries they may have during their stay.
Compensation & Benefits:
This parttime position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour paid biweekly. The Front Desk Agent will also have access to employee discounts on hotel rooms and restaurant services. This role also provides opportunities for growth and advancement within the hotel industry.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival providing a warm and friendly first impression.
Checkin guests verify their information and assign rooms based on their preferences.
Coordinate and assist with guest requests such as room changes amenities and general inquiries.
Handle checkouts collect payments and ensure accurate billing for services provided.
Keep a wellstocked and organized front desk area including office supplies and promotional materials.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of hotel services amenities and local attractions to provide recommendations and assistance to guests.
Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Complete all necessary paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures as well as safety and security guidelines.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional and friendly demeanor.
Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficient in using computer systems and common office software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
