We are seeking a Team Lead Inventory to oversee a team of four Inventory Analysts supporting the Northern California regionfrom Bakersfield and Crescent City to the Reno Nevada area. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts across multiple hospital sites.
The ideal candidate will be based in or near Fremont or Sacramento CA with flexibility to travel up to 40% within the territory. While a company vehicle is not provided mileage reimbursement is available for all workrelated travel.
This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and participation in a rotational oncall schedule as needed to support business operations and customer needs.
Conduct regular cycle counts at various hospitals and office locations across the territory; reconcile discrepancies with inventory records and submit adjustments. Ensure all branch inventory is counted at least once annually and manage processes related to shelf life and product expiry.
Monitor report and analyze branch operations metrics track service levels and resolve inventoryrelated issues or discrepancies.
Provide phonebased support to sales teams and healthcare professionals; occasionally perform duties in hospital and operating room environments. Maintain detailed records of inquiries complaints and actions taken.
Fulfill and distribute materials products parts and supplies based on requisitions; maintain accurate records of inventory levels shortages and shipments; ensure proper storage labeling and organization of stock.
Follow procedures for the disposal of damaged or defective items.
Offer coaching and feedback to team members to improve service levels internal processes and overall customer support.
Engage professionally and promptly with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive business relationships.
Lead and execute longterm inventory and operational projects keeping management updated throughout the project lifecycle.
What you need
Required:
Bachelors degree in business or 6 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated warehouse inventory control experience
Proficiency in MS Outlook Excel Word and Access ERP systems
Experience with data analysis tools such as queries pivot tables
Experience leading teams or overseeing operations
$salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
