Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients negotiating terms and conditions and identifying new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their insurance needs are met
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms coverage and pricing
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients outlining coverage options and risk management strategies
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process ensuring efficient and timely resolution
- Identify crossselling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations to effectively advise clients on risk management and coverage options
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance or a similar role with a focus on account management and client retention
- Indepth knowledge of commercial insurance products underwriting processes and risk management strategies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage a diverse portfolio of clients
