Job Description
Position: Quoting Specialist II
Reports To: Manager II Quote
Location: Grafton Wisconsin
Remote Type: Hybrid (3 days In Office; 2 days Remote)
Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver customer quotes using price list modifiers qualifiers factory cost and other product and engineering attributes using our quote systems
Collaborates with sales team to deliver completed customer quotes as part of the Business Segment Quoting Strategy.
Understands and applies plant capabilities to develop best possible solution developing quote to position Power Efficiency Solutions ( Regal Rexnord Business Segment) to win
Ensures required data and inputs are consistent within CRM to allow for accurate and complete report generation in order to identify business trends working with Sales and leadership within the quoting responsibility
Partners with Product Management team to evaluate current product profitability and develop optimal profitability strategies
Analyze customer specifications to ensure product quote meets all customers requirements
Understand the industry economics applications and Regal Rexnord products/value to the customer
Executes business quoting strategy to Oracle ERP system in line with defined pricing structures and discounts. (List pricing programs profit thresholds)
Researches and prepares reports using data from Oracle/CRM and other computer systems
Identify opportunities to eliminate errors and implement process improvements
May provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts
Determines strategic competitive pricing levels through analysis of competitors market information
Support Pricing Execution and evaluation including margin analysis channel conflict review and market level pricing utilizing Oracle and Excel
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience (Technical degree preferred)
35 years relevant work experience in a similar B2B Marketing position
The ideal candidate is energetic well organized selfmanaged commercially and technically minded flexible teamoriented and possesses strong integrity and professionalism
Ability to evaluate market opportunities develop pricing strategies and distil clear messages
Sense of accountability for sales and profitability
Familiarity with 80/20 methodologies preferred
Familiarity with CRM platforms. Salesforce CRM platform preferred
Preferable Oracleand key Excel user
Excellent analytical insight and good with financial analysis & numbers
Firm personality; communicative strong in writing and verbal.
Entrepreneurial and practical attitude
Selfstarter and proactive independent worker but also able to work in a participative team environment
Objective critical thinking capabilities
Effective negotiator
Good quantitative and analytical skills
Travel: Minimal travel required
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
