The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Account Manager with startup and/or SaaS experience. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our software development teams and our end users ensuring our clients can fully leverage our platform to meet their complex needs. Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with clients including developers utilities and funds supporting them in integrating Modo Energys platform into their strategic decisionmaking processes while identifying upsell and crosssell opportunities to drive account growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients focusing on account growth retention and achieving revenue targets.
- Guide customers in using Modo Energys software suite to construct longterm power market scenarios leveraging your expertise in power markets while helping clients navigate and interpret complex results and resolving troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with team leadership to coordinate resources and support strategic initiatives across the user base ensuring alignment with client goals and product team insights.
- Gather and communicate client feedback and pain points to the product team contributing to continuous improvement and the product roadmap.
- Oversee the integration of Modo Energys software suite into client operations ensuring smooth adoption proactively monitoring account health and taking steps to prevent and resolve potential issues.
- Understand client pain points and convey these back to the product teams to refine product roadmaps according to user track and report on health of software accounts taking proactive steps to anticipate and resolve incidents before escalation.
- Implement initiatives to promote Modo Energys software community within the region and foster client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer success account management or sales ideally within a SaaS energy or tech environment.
- Experience in roles where you have carried a revenue target or have been involved in driving account growth is highly desirable.
- Deep interest in the energy transition and SaaS products; knowledge of power markets is a communication skills capable of explaining complex topics of both technical and nontechnical audiences across different seniority levels.
- Strong process management skills with experience in leading and delivering timecritical projects.
- Confident stakeholder management abilities able to collaborate crossfunctionally to drive new initiatives.
- Selfstarter with a creative problemsolving approach.
- Proven ability to analyze interpret and derive insights from complex quantitative data.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM and customer success platforms to monitor client health and track account growth opportunities.
Important Details:
- Hybrid Work Environment: This role is hybrid with time split between working from home and our London office with inoffice days from Tuesday through Thursday.
- Compensation & Benefits: Modo Energy offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package including private toptier healthcare and dental coverage with Bupa a pension scheme with employer contribution 25 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays) and 5 flexible days to be taken on a Monday or Friday.
