Job Description
Line Chefs
- Work a 2 week on 1 week off roster earning a salary of $95253 plus Super.
- Enjoy free onsite Gym access & recreational facilities.
- DIDO from Central QLD OR FIFO from Brisbane Available.
The Position
- Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees
- Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch or Dinner and Desserts
- Ensure OH&S compliance adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
- Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene safety infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standards
- Assist Head Chefs in managing team performance and employee development
The Person
- You will be a qualified Chef with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent
- Bulk catering or buffet experienceis essential.
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and great time management is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance.
